Louise Gray for Topshop

As part of the A/W Collection, Topshop has teamed up with vibrant British designer Louise Gray to produce a fashion and make up collection, based upon her bold and playful personality. The range consists of glitter nail polishes, bold velvet lipsticks, glitter pots, make up bags, and sequin party dresses and tops in an array of loud patterns and colours.

I absolutely love this bright and playful collection as it is bringing something new to the same old boring neutral A/W wardrobes everyone seems to wear. Why not be daring and out there with something loud and vibrant?! Personally I love the Smiley Face Sequin Tee and think that it would look amazing with a nice pair of high waisted jeans or Disco Pants. The pieces of clothing in the collection do come with quite a high price tag though, between £130 and £200, so it would probably take a few weeks worth of saving up pocket money for me to buy a piece!

The make up however is quite cheap! Hoorah! At £6.50 for a nail polish and £10 for a lipstick it could be a lot worse, and if you order 2 items from the Topshop website they give you a Louise Gray mirror for free! Bonus!

The collection launched today nationwide and I have ordered a nail polish in Pinch Punch and a lipstick in Legend, so I can't wait for those to arrive to try out!

What do you guys think of the collection? Will you be buying something too?

Wishlist #1

1 2 3 4 5 6 7 8

I'm absolutely in love with all of these items at the moment! I'm counting down the days until pay day so that I can purchase a few of them! The dinosaur vest by Drop Dead is so cool and at £25 I think it's a bargain. It will look amazing with my black Disco Pants and leather jacket or tucked into a pair of Levi cut offs when it's sunny.

I start university in September and I'm in desperate need of a large bag to carry all my books in and I think this one from Zara is the perfect size! It's really big and simple and very versatile so it will go with pretty much every outfit. Which will be handy for uni as I'll no doubt be in a rush getting ready to catch the train, I can just grab it and go!

Soooo, it's just about my favourite time of year again, when Leeds and Reading festivals take place and I'm not even going this year :( It would have been my 4th time, I'm so sad! To anyone who is going, I hope you all have a wonderful time and have a few drinks for me!

Hello, Guten Tag, Bonjour, Ola, Namaste

So, who knew that the first post for this whole blogging thing would be so difficult?! I've been staring at this blank page for ages deciding what exciting things I can write about that may interest you, but I feel like I should introduce myself before I start blabbering about anything else...

I'm 21 (and a half!) years old from the North of England. Yes that's right, the home of wet weather and the Geordie accent! (Aren't we lucky... Ha). I'm currently waiting to start university in September to study to be nurse, which I'm very excited about as I feel like a new chapter in my life is beginning. My main passion in life is fashion, although I'm not interested in a career in it, it does rule my life some what anyway (and my bank account! Ha).

For all of you other bloggers out there interested in following One Heaped Teaspoon, you can expect to read all about my current fashion and beauty obsessions, perhaps some reviews on music, books and films that I might have enjoyed, and a little bit about my life from time to time. I'm also currently learning to sew on a vintage Singer sewing machine I accquired for free from Freecycle so you can expect some posts on the things I've made!

That's all for now I guess :)
